DESCRIPTION:Our “Get Set For APSMO’ program is designed for Year 5 & 6 students who love mathematics and enjoy solving challenging problems. This program provides a structured approach to preparing students for the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) scheduled on Wednesdays – May 7, June 11, July 30, and September 10 this year. Each session within the program:\n-Helps students develop problem-solving strategies by practicing APSMO-style questions.\n-Encourages students to explore multiple approaches to solving problems, enhancing their critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills.\n-Provides a collaborative learning environment where students can learn alongside like-minded peers.\n-Improves students’ ability to solve complex mathematical problems, helping to boost their overall mathematics achievement at school.\nEach session is taken by a qualified tutor, and has a maximum of 4 students participating.\n
