Learn English with our expert tutors in individual or small group lessons.
Is Your Child Learning the English Language?
Is your child falling behind at school due to not fully understanding the English Language? Is their confidence declining?
Our English Language tutoring services cater for international students studying at schools in Australia. As our tutoring services are implemented online, many students commence their English Language tutoring with us before they arrive in Australia. Our education team also provides individualised English Language tutoring to students studying abroad at International schools.
Like all of our tutoring services, our online English Language lessons are individualised to cater for the unique learning needs of each student. Whilst every student has different learning goals, our English Language lessons aim to develop each student’s awareness, knowledge and skills in the use of English.
English Language learning focuses on developing and improving each student’s writing, reading and listening skills in English, developing their grammar and vocabulary skills and their oral presentation skills. Students who participate in our English Language tutoring lessons not only develop the confidence and ability to use English in their daily life, their ability to communicate in academic contexts also improves.
Online Tutoring Can Improve Your School Results
Language learning provides students with the opportunity to broaden their social, cultural and employment prospects in an increasingly interconnected world.
If your child is studying a language other than English at school, our expert tutors can provide them with individualised one-to-one or small group tutoring in the language they are studying, from the comfort of their own home. We are currently providing specialised tutoring for Australian students studying French and Chinese. Our language tutors are qualified to teach a variety of languages including Arabic, Portuguese and Japanese.
ESL (English as a Second Language)
Students studying English as their second language will move through four phases of English language learning. Some students may move through more than one phase in a school year; while some may take more than one year to move from one phase to another. Although the phases describe a developmental language progression, the rate of progress and the extent of the achievement within each phase are dependent upon a number of factors including, previous schooling, the student’s proficiency in their first language and their cognitive and emotional development.
