During the past term, Mr Hand has helped and guided me through the new experience of Distance Education. Having a tutor like Mr Hand has really benefited my grades and allowed me to find a balanced study/dance plan. I have an extensive dance training schedule of approximately 25-30 hours per week. I travel twice weekly for a three-hour return trip as well as interstate and recently overseas for training and competitions. I look forward to continuing my work with Mr Hand for the remainder of my schooling year, and for years to come.

The Optimise Learning team around Tracey and Peter managed to effectively combine academics with our sport of ski racing, which happens mostly in the Northern Hemisphere winters. The tutoring system gave our athletes the possibility to extend their ski training and competition period in Austria, as well as being focused while studying with the support of the online tutors.

I was told about Optimise Learning by a friend who had enlisted their services to tutor three of her children who were missing a lot of school due to sporting commitments. At the time we were living in the country and were travelling extensively with our children from one sporting event to another. Sometimes we spent weeks travelling to sporting events overseas. Whilst they were having a lot of fun with their sport, our children were missing key elements of their education.

My husband and I were concerned that their grades would be affected. We met with Tracey and Peter Hand to discuss our children’s tutoring requirements as soon after we started on the Optimise Learning journey. Now, nearly one year later the children’s grades have lifted substantially and they are coping well with their sporting commitments and balancing their school work. The ability to be able to access talent in education like this is the most important opportunity we can give our children in their formative years and every moment spent with Optimise Learning has been exceptional.

Tracey from Optimise Learning has always meticulously chosen the right tutor for our daughter. We embarked on the online tuition sessions with Peter and we have found them to be incredibly successful. Peter is engaging and motivating and our daughter has found the sessions to be both valuable and enjoyable, so much so that she now prefers them to the in-person tutoring she was having. Communication via an online platform has proven to be very easy and effective. As a family we have gained an afternoon at home which allows the rest of the family to continue with their own pursuits without interruption and the sessions are flexible enough to accommodate unexpected changes in routine if and when they arise. My daughter has had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Optimise Learning. The online tutorials worked extremely well and the weekly feedback has been so beneficial. We initially approached Tracey to work with our daughter after an interstate move. She was very quickly able to assess her strengths and weaknesses and formulate a plan moving forward. My daughter’s tutor has the most fantastic rapport with both of the girls in the session and is truly one of the best teachers we have come across. We would highly recommend Optimise. Right from the beginning conversations with Tracey through to the perfect selection of tutor for my son, it has been an amazing experience. Tracey’s knowledge and understanding of adolescent learning was comforting and her wiliness to listen to my concerns was refreshing. My 8yr old is very bright but has learning differences. He doesn’t learn in the conventional ways and can also get very distracted. Prior to starting tutoring, he had huge anxiety during maths and had pretty much given up. After a very short amount of time he became confident and skilled at all the basics. His tutor Tarsh has been instrumental in not only turning his grades around to high achievements, but has also given him successful strategies for calming his mind and focusing. She has also provided great detailed feedback about my sons learning style and what motivates him. He loves his time with Tarsh and is now keen to stretch beyond the basics, even boasting a little to his friends about his Maths skills.

Fabulous programme. I have a daughter in Grade 4 and in Grade 1. With this sudden change in the world, I found myself having to homeschool, I had no idea what to do. Optimise Learning sent me the school work each day and I found the work perfect for my girls. The work load was perfect for my grade 1 daughter, and I loved it that she’s been keen and excited to do the work sheets each day. I have really noticed a big improvement with her reading and writing. The work for my grade 4 daughter challenged her and that is exactly what she needs and with my help she was able to achieve things she didn’t think she could achieve. Optimise Learning Team, I just wanted to say thank you for the work you’ve been doing with Scarlett. She’s been really enjoying her lessons. Today at school they had a comprehension assessment and she was thrilled to get 14/16. A few weeks ago she got when they did a comprehension test she got 3/12 and was devastated, it’s so nice to see her confidence growing. My daughter was a reluctant reader, and so we engaged Optimise Learning to work with our daughter to assist. Optimise has not only improved my daughter’s engagement and fluency in reading, but she has built up her confidence as a reader and learner. My 12yo son has gained and consolidated so many skills in math with Optimise over the past 2 years. They have really taken the time to relate to him, know what stage he is at, and probably most importantly kept him challenged and interested in this subject. They have always been able to extend and if necessary explain what he has learnt at school. We feel so relieved he has had this steady backup.

Discovering Optimise Learning has been a blessing. Their online tutoring works so much better! We don’t have to drive somewhere, and our son really engages with his lessons in their online classroom.I was reluctant to try online tutoring at first, thinking that it was not going to be the same as having a face to face session. Well, to my surprise, it works so much better! We don’t have to drive somewhere to have it, and my son’s learning achievements are so much better.
